DAMIEN BLACK- FOUNDER-PRESIDENT

He is a Husband, a father to 3 kids and a family man who values loyalty, honesty and the people closest to him. He is someone who would rather show his love through his actions than words. For Damien, Family isn’t just part of his life. It’s the reason behind everything he does. That is one of the reasons #dadneverleft started.

Behind his quiet personality is a man with a big heart, a strong sense of determination, and a desire to leave something meaningful behind for his children.

He believes that life isn’t about being recognized by everyone. It’s about being remembered by the people who matter most.

Kaleigh Gilberts-Board Director

She is a devoted mother of three and bonus mom to one, residing in Appleton, Minnesota. With a strong passion for family advocacy, parental equality, and protecting children’s best interests, she is proud to serve as a board member of the developing nonprofit organization #DADNEVERLEFT.

Drawing from personal experiences with parenting, co-parenting, and navigating the family court system, she is committed to helping families feel heard, supported, and empowered. Kaleigh believes that children deserve the opportunity to maintain meaningful relationships with both parents.

DUSTIE BLACK - CO-FOUNDER-VICE PRESIDENT

She is a devoted wife, mother of 2 and a bonus mother of 1, and a women who has never been afraid to stand up for what she believes in. With a strong personality, a compassionate heart and determination that is hard to shake, she is someone who believes that actions speak louder than words.

Life has taught her the importance of perseverance, family and finding strength even during the most difficult times. Her experience has shaped her into someone who isn’t afraid to speak up, ask difficult questions or challenge things she believes are unfair which is why #dadneverleft is where it is at right now.

Blake Linstrom- Board Director

He is a hardworking father of two and bonus dad to two, residing in Appleton, Minnesota. Balancing a full-time career with family responsibilities, He understands the importance of being an involved, present, and supportive father.

Through his personal experiences with fatherhood, co-parenting, and blended family life, He recognizes the challenges fathers can face while working to maintain meaningful relationships with their children. He believes that fathers deserve to have their voices heard and that children benefit from having both parents actively involved in their lives whenever possible.
